Week 7: weekly weigh in and stats

OK, I was getting abuse yesterday for being a bit latchy in getting my stats up...SO HERE THEY ARE!

Weight 66.1KG DOWN 200g (not a lot but enough! nearly half a pound)
Waist: 28 inches
Hips: 38.5 inches DOWN HALF AN INCH
Bust: 34 inches DOWN 1 INCH

So still going in the right direction which is good. My jeans are starting to feel loose around my bum too which is great, its all those lunges! And I was paid a very nice compliment yesterday that my tummy looked great for having children, it made my day!

How has everyone else got on? I am not working out today as I have some horses to work on and that is a mini workout in itself! But I am picking up my yoga again to help with my flexibility and toning.

Happy Blitzing!

  1. found your blog via babyfit. I'll come back to see your progress. I wish I had your motivation... between me and both of my sons it seems like one of us is sick so whenever I get going on my workout plan, I have to stop. It's too cold and icy to workout outside right now- makes me ready for spring. I know I need to count calories, I just find that my days are so busy and by the time I get to the end of the day, I can't remember what I've eaten- or I am so tired I drop into bed. My 6-month-old still isn't sleeping thru the night. I am going to the gym tonight and I will try my hardest to keep track of calories.

I have trouble with getting healthy snacks on a small budget. My LO cannot tolerate protein powder- any other quick, cheap, and easy ideas?

You can reach me on babyfit if you want- saranharm.

  2. Hi sara
You can find the motivation somewhere! its hard at first but if you do it often enough it becomes part of your routine, the rule of thumb is do soemthing for 21 days and it becomes second nature. Can you incorporate your sons into your workout? I use Callum as a weight which he loves or if I am rowing or doing yoga I put him in his bouncer. I used to wait till he was asleep when he was younger but now its easier to do it when he is awake.

There is a blog in january about high protein snacks that should help you.

For me I prefer to get the exercise over and done with during the day, early on, then it is not praying on my mind. Some people prefer to do it later on but don't workout too late as it floods your body with endorphins and adrenalin and you will find it hard to unwind and fall asleep, waking up feeling tired and the vicious cycle begins.

Are you taking enough iron into your diet? A lack of iron can make you feel very lethargic and its a very cheap and easy suppliment or eat more spinach, red meats, humus etc.

My son to is lactose intolerant and I can't use protein powder. I did try a lactose free one which didnt taste too great! Now I jsut make up a shake with soy milk and snack on a little peice of cheese.

I hope this helps. Feel free to email me, i'll look for you on babyfit.
    Happy Blitzing!

  3. Way to go Amy!

I found your blog through babyfit as well. I credit you with the reason why I finally began to lose weight. I still have a long way to go and am certainly not ready to post belly pictures. You look great! Where do you have weight to lose?

    Thank you for your encouragement!
